Case study
Multinational banking corporation

The outsourcing arm of a multinational banking corporation had been using their own in-house bespoke accounting system for many years but had now identified that greater flexibility and functionality was required to cope with changes in the industry and their working practices.

OpenAIR Accounts has also catered for the requirements of TPA's (Third Party Administrators). The outsourcing arm of a multinational banking corporation had been using their own in-house bespoke accounting system for many years but had now identified that greater flexibility and functionality was required to cope with changes in the industry and their working practices.

Their remit was to ascertain whether it would be more cost effective to make the required changes to their existing system or to create a completely bespoke version of OpenAIR Accounts tailored to their exacting requirements. We are pleased to say they chose the latter option.

Over a number of development phases, full project specifications were drawn up and agreed. The result is that the client is now extremely happy with their completely bespoke system and they use it to run the accounts for approximately 300 pension schemes with around 90 users accessing it in differing worldwide locations.
